Huawei have finished working on the Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) update for the G300. The update has introduced further speed and stability. In addition, previous apps can now be installed that are exclusive to ICS, such as the official Google Chrome browser. The G300 is a now a whole new phone, and for the better.
If you haven't installed the ICS update, we recommend you do it right now. It's very simple. There are several different ways you can install it, depending on the current state of your phone. Follow the true instructions for your phone, as listed below:

If there is no update available, you can still install the ICS update by following our guide on installing custom ROMs from scratch. You only need to follow pages 1 to 6, you do not need to follow page 7.

You can flash the official ICS update through ClockworkMod Recovery. Follow this page only for instructions, and choose the option I want to install the official ICS update.
If you no longer have ClockworkMod Recovery, follow from this page onwards. When you get to page 7 on Install the custom ROM, select I want to install the official ICS update.
